The Old Badger Inn in Eastington, Gloucestershire is a great example of a proper village pub! It has recently been fully restored by owner Ellie Sainty (who also owns the famous award winning Old Spot Inn in Dursley) paying much attention to traditional values. The Old Badger serves at least five real ales from local and regional brewers and offers a lovely warm, convivial atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy a pint (or two!)

Bar, Lounge and Snug areas are packed with Breweriana and the two log fires make for a cosy evening. People make pubs and it wont be long before you are chatting to the locals and feeling you are in the perfect place.

There is also a good selection of wines and malt whiskies, the beers change regularly and manageress, Julie is always happy to chat about beers you might like to try ..... dont keep a good beer to yourself ..... its for sharing!

Recently the pub had been a Punch Taverns property, known as the Victoria. After being closed by Punch for over a year Ellie and Julie saw its potential as a traditional pub, serving a rural community. All walks of life find a common interest in great ales and the laughter and conversation that like minded folk create. Sorry, no keg beer, pool, darts, fruit machines or karaoke here ...... lovely!

Food began in early 2012 after the full kitchen refit. Click here for more info.

The Old Badger Inn has a covered and heated patio, a large lawned garden and good car parking. Found 5 mins from junction 13 of the M5 it is a good place to pop in for a break on your journey.

Happy dogs are welcome.

Nearby attractions include, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands, Gloucester Docks, Westonbirt Arboreatum, and the towns of Cheltenham, Gloucester,Bristol and Bath are all a short drive away.

Ellie, Julie and their friendly team look forward to seeing you soon ......
